We are located at 159 Garfield Rd East, which is the main road that travels through Riverstone. We are situated halfway between the train station and Windsor Rd.
Consultations are 30 minutes which allows for extra time so our vets are not rushed and allow them to give you and your pet the time needed. We are able to answer any questions and formulate a plan for your pet moving forward. We help you become A+ pet parents from general health care, to discussing all treatment options when your pet is unwell.
Consultation fees are $72 for a 30-minute appointment.
In the unfortunate event your pet is unwell after hours, we would encourage you to take your pet to the closest after-hours clinic, Animal Referral Hospital at Baulkham Hills. Either call the clinic on 9639 7744 or drive straight there at 19 Old Northern Rd, Baulkham Hills.
Riverstone Veterinary Hospital prefers that you book in for your appointment in advance. This is easily done online or by calling us. This ensures that we are able to dedicate a full 30 minutes to every consultation, and also avoid excessive waiting times for yourself.
The staff at Riverstone Veterinary Hospital understand that when your pet has surgery, this can be a nervous and scary time for you and your best mate. But coming to us, you should have complete confidence that your pet will be receiving the highest level of care possible, from cuddles on admission, to nice toasty air blankets on recovery.
Please make sure your pet is not fed the morning of the surgery. Water is fine to leave down until you arrive at the clinic. Drop off times are preferred between 8:30AM - 11AM.
Unfortunately, we do not receive government subsidies and are a small business. We rely on your support to keep our doors open. Therefore it is expected that the work performed is paid for at the time the service was provided. We offer payment plans for those clients that are having trouble with finances.
We are very compassionate and understand that vet bills are expensive. We do not want this to stop your pet from accessing veterinary treatment when needed. Here at Riverstone Veterinary hospital, we have two options to ease the financial burden:
Unfortunately, at the current time, we are unable to provide a house visit service.
Pets age much quicker than we do as humans and because of this, they require more regular check ups. At Riverstone Veterinary Hospital, we recommend that your pet receives a full health check twice a year, especially as they enter their geriatric years (>8 years of age). This will allow our vets to check your pet over from nose to tail and make sure there is nothing hidden that may be causing your pet discomfort.
